Enjoy cycling, mountain biking and racing bikes

Cycling holiday in South Tyrol

The south of South Tyrol with its extensive network of cycle paths, trails and downhill routes is an El Dorado for cyclists.

Pleasure cyclists can choose from numerous short routes through apple orchards and experience the warmest bathing lake in the Alps from its most beautiful side on the 17 km long, almost flat circuit of Lake Caldaro.

Racing cyclists enjoy the 110 km long cycle path from Bozen to Lake Garda and continue down the Adige Valley Cycle Path southwards to Verona and the Kurtatsch-Mendelpass-Gampenpass-Lana-Kurtatsch circuit also promises special enjoyment for racing cyclists.

Mountain bikers, on the other hand, will find ideal conditions around Kurtatsch and Tramin. The longest downhill route in the area, for example, leads over 1,900 meters from Tramin's local mountain, the Roen, as a 14-kilometer single trail down into the valley.
